| Deborah Whitman, a talented sculptor from Norwich, who is also the director of the gallery at the Chenango County Council of the Arts, has a very special work in progress. Having long worked with wood and stone, she is now exploring metal sculpting as an additional means of self expression. |

Her contemporary interpretation of Stonehenge is composed of metal figures, with each figure contributing it's individual spirit to the overall meaning. This outdoor installation is an inspirational earthbound expression of life. It reflects the relationship between celestial and seasonal changes, which constantly affect our place in the universe, and our human capacities. |
